Professionally....

Currently, I am working PT for the Findlay City Schools where I manage three computer labs for the Donnell Middle School and also assist the technology department.  My responsibilities include maintaining all the computers; teacher, students and administrator systems as well as developing online video training tutorials.  The work is very rewarding and in a down economy, very much appreciated.

After school is out each day I head off to my other part-time employment with First Communications Group where I am the company webmaster, web developer and all-around internet Guru.  At First Group I work primarily with Joomla CMS development and have been immersed in this technology for the past two years.  I have moved away from traditional simple html sites to the more complex, corporate level PHP/MySQL (LAMPP) sites that are demanded by larger companies and mission critical sites.  To date, I have created over 100 websites in the past 10 years as a web developer.

After my day is over with First Communications Group I head home and do what I can as a freelance web developer.  I primarily service the Marblehead Peninsula area but also have clients in Findlay, Kenton, Toledo, Fremont, Columbus, several states in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.  I also do a lot of development work on Guru.com.  Unfortunately, because of my other jobs and personal committments, I am unable to devote the full time attention to many corporate level accounts.  Instead, I focus on the small, down and dirty html sites and the occassional Joomla site.

Proudest Professional Moments:

Creation of Findlay Living Magazine... Even though I no longer own it and the current owners probably hate my guts.  I'm still very proud of the magazine that I created, funded in the early upstart days.

Creation of Dynamic Webs, LLC - Even though I'm a one man show... I still take a lot of pride in the fact I run my business ethically and professionally.... even with the economy being  in the dumps.   Many of my peers do not take the time or effort to meet the state requiements to run a business.  It is amazing how many web designers I run into these days who are in violation of the Ohio Revised Codes.

United States Federal Courts - Design of the GUI interface for the US Federal Courts Juror website portal used in many district courts throughout the United States.

SEO Skills - While many people claim they are SEO Experts, I take greate pride in the fact that the sites I develop all rank highly in the search engines for their appropriate keywords.  I do not push SEO nor promote it as Gospil because of the tremendous amount of change in the internet.  I bet you didn't know that the Search Engines (Yahoo, Google and MSN) all change their algorithms about once every 3-4 months.  Sometimes, the new algorithms will knock you out of the popular search results and sometimes it will push you to the front.  One thing is for certain, NO ONE can promise you the number one position all the time.... Even if you specialize in Black Hat SEO.
